Welcome to the brand new Steelbender.com!  After six years of existence on the Worldwide Web, it was time to update the place with a fresh look.  This is still the online home of Jason Barker; but of course it also remains a website dedicated to information and the exchange of knowledge.  Thank you for making this a viable and evolving resource for guitarists of all ages and skill levels.

Take a look around at your leisure.  If you're a regular visitor, you will find that the majority of content from the "old place" is still intact in a different looking format.  If you are new to our site, please make yourself at home and visit as often as you like!

Most of the site's sections should be fairly obvious in terms of their purpose.  However, there are a few significant differences you need to take note of:

-You can now instantly choose and change which resolution you'd like to view Steelbender.com by selecting your favorite setting at the very top of the page above the Steelbender logo.   Click on them all and find what suits your tastes!

-We now have an optional membership system which you can access on the left side of the site's pages where it says "Login Form."  Sign up with no charges or obligations to view "members only" content, as well as to participate in our new Forums.

-Speaking of forums, check out our new Steelbender Forums.....that's right....plural.....we have a greatly expanded user board with all sorts of entertaining and useful categories.  Please sign up and feel free to participate!  Your involvement helps to make this site truly a community-based endeavor.

-Don't forget to look at the new Events Calendar.  This is an up-to-the-minute schedule of recommended Steelbender.com happenings, as well as live performance dates featuring Jason Barker and his various musical projects.
